MBR series is a family of high-performance ultra-stable tunable CW Ti:Sapphire lasers. The monolithic block resonator arrangement ensures high stability in an extremely robust and compact design. High output powers and broad tuning range are achieved when combining MBR series with Coherent Verdi 532 nm pump lasers. While a wide choice of performance options are available, the top of the range MBR 110 model features single frequency operation with ultra-narrow relative linewidth of 3.5W (with 18W pump), wide tuning range of 700 nm to 1030 nm, 30 GHz scan range and an integrated stabilized reference cavity. This temperature-controlled, hermetically sealed cavity provides reference for laser emission frequency stabilization against external temperature and rapid air pressure changes. External lock inputs are also available. Broadband optics, dedicated electronics and robust reliable design ensures smooth operation. Open access architecture allows users full control of the laser and gives advantage of worldwide field serviceability. MBR series are widely used for applications like atom cooling and trapping, high precision spectroscopy, quantum optics, micro-resonator studies, laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy and others.
