Newport 460P-X Pair of XY Stacked Modular Ball Bearing Linear Stages with SM-25 Vernier Micrometers

The Newport 460P-X High-Performance Modular Ball Bearing Linear Stage is the basic module in Newports 460P line of Modular Linear Stages. By stacking stages, bases and angle brackets, you can build a custom stage for your application-be it X, XY, or XYZ Axes, or even for mounting at angles. The included Newport SM-25 Micrometer Actuator allows for precise positioning over a 25mm range. The top plate of this stage has been drilled and tapped with both 1/4-20 and 8-32 holes for mounting the Newport PEG modular mounting peg screws or other optical components.

The SM-25 Vernier Micrometer is a standard drive for most Newport stages. The SM-25 has a 25 mm travel range and a 23 lb load capacity. The SM-25 has a 0.5 mm pitch (50.8 TPI) threads and read directly in increments of 10 µm, with vernier reading of 1 µm.
