The Anritsu ME7750A is a 43.5 Gbit/s BER measurement solution for 40 G systems and modules. It is ideal for R&D, and manufacturing testing of gigabit light-wave and digital devices, components, and subsystems. It generates and analyzes data streams from 25 Gbit/s to 43.5 Gbit/s. Designed to develop and test next generation 40 G-bit 4:1 OC-768 (STM-256) and OC-192 (STM-64) transceivers, modulators, MUX DEMUX, high-speed logic devices, optical module and forward error correction (FEC) rates beyond 40 G. These capabilities gives development engineers the ability to thoroughly test and characterize their devices for complete confidence in their product performance.

  • High quality output waveform. The retiming circuit realizes high quality waveform (low jitter and low wave distortion) and high output amplitude (2V p-p)
  • High sensitive demux data input. It is possible to analyze minimum 100mV p-p data input signal.
  • Evaluation under 43.5 Gbit /s pure PRBS. The MP1758A Pulse Pattern Generator can generate PRBS on 43.5 Gbit/ (selectable pattern length = 2n: n= 7, 9, 11, 15, 20, 23, 31). The phase of each channel is shifted 1/4 cycle an multiplexed signal can be treated as pure PRBS.
  • Wide operation frequency. It has capability for treat FEC signals on the 40 Gbit/s 4 channels pulse pattern generator (MP1758A) and the 4-ch error detector can support 100 Mbit/s to 12.5 Gbit/s signals. The MUX (MP1801A) and the DE-MUX (MP1802A) supports 25 G to 43.5 G/s signals.
