The Yokogawa SR1015B85 is a direct drive (DD) servo actuator controller from the DynaSERV product line, originally developed by Litton Precision Products under the Compumotor division and later associated with Yokogawa branding. It accepts 200–230V AC power and is designed to drive DynaSERV direct drive motors used in high-precision motion control applications. The unit powers on and front-panel LED indicators illuminate.

Applications
The DynaSERV series was a line of direct drive servo systems designed for high-precision, high-torque motion control without intermediate gearing or belt drives, eliminating backlash and improving positioning accuracy. These servo actuator controllers were used in precision automation, semiconductor handling, pick-and-place equipment, robotics, and other industrial motion control systems where highly accurate angular positioning was required. The DynaSERV line was developed in the late 1980s through the 1990s under Litton's Compumotor division, which was well known in the motion control industry for high-performance servo and stepper products. The RS-232C and Fieldbus interfaces on the CN1 and CN2 connectors allowed integration with PLCs and motion controllers in automated production environments. These controllers remain sought after as replacement and spare units for installed DynaSERV-based systems still operating in industrial and research settings.
This Yokogawa SR1015B85 DynaSERV DD Servo Actuator powers on and the front-panel LED indicators light up, but we were unable to test it further beyond that. The unit was removed from a working industrial assembly where it had been in active service. Cosmetically it shows normal wear consistent with industrial use.
