Description
Varian MCSD D01000531-00A 3 gang inductor. This is an assembly of three separate inductors which can be removed and used as three individual inductors. Each inductor has 13 wires coming from the internal coil. Each wire appears to be an equal step so that the maximum inductance is obtained between tap #1 and #13. A porportional smaller inductance is obtained by using a lower number than 13 as the tap connection. This was used with a high voltage three phase power supply and the inductor would be used to vary the inductance for regulation of different loads.
