Applications

Dial-up modems of this type were used in desktop systems throughout the 1990s and 2000s for internet connectivity and faxing. The dual RJ-11 ports supported simultaneous telephone line connections. This IBM US Robotics 12J2964 PCI modem card has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. The PCB is clean with no obvious damage, broken components, or missing parts. The bracket and RJ-11 ports look intact. There is a white label applied to the top of the modem module shield, typical of surplus pulls.
