Applications

The Supra SupraExpress was the standard dial-up modem for internet and online service connectivity throughout the 1990s. This card was used for bulletin board system (BBS) access, CompuServe, AOL, and general internet connectivity when dial-up was the primary internet method. It represents the final generation of mainstream ISA-bus modems before USB and built-in modem functions displaced the card format. Collectors and retro computing enthusiasts restore these cards for period-accurate 1990s systems, and they remain functional for connecting to legacy dial-up networks where such services are still available. The SupraExpress line was known for reliability and broad software compatibility across the Windows 95/98 era.
