The basic configuration of the Model 1108 contains a single scaler and memory card with control functions and interconnections to provide preset-time, preset-count, and free-running (time accumulation for a single count) modes. Internal and external data transfers are organized around a 36-bit parallel data bus (32-bits for numeric BCD data), which is indicated on an eight digit front panel LED display.
