The defeatable high-pass filter is specifically designed to protect passive in-wall volume controls from over-excursion at low frequencies — a practical feature in multi-room installations where passive volume controls are used at each zone. The BBE SAT processing module provides psychoacoustic enhancement intended to improve perceived clarity and definition in distributed speaker systems, which often deal with longer cable runs and varied room acoustics. This Sonance SONAMP 275 SE 2-channel DSP power amplifier has been tested and confirmed in working order at our facility. We fed line-level audio into the balanced input terminal block on the rear panel and connected speakers to the banana connector speaker outputs — the unit produced clean audio on both channels. Note that output volume is controlled from the source, not the amplifier itself. The unit is in good used cosmetic condition consistent with normal wear on pre-owned electronics.
