Applications
Multi-tape cassette rewinders like the Pentagon CW6 were standard equipment in professional audio duplication houses, broadcast facilities, radio stations, and A/V rental operations during the height of the cassette era — roughly the late 1970s through the 1990s. The ability to rewind six tapes at once was essential for high-volume duplication workflows, where finished copies needed to be rewound to the start before packaging or distribution. Today, units like this remain useful for archivists, cassette enthusiasts, musicians releasing music on tape, and small-scale duplication shops still working with the format. The auto-stop feature prevents tape spillage and motor wear, a key convenience in any multi-tape rewind scenario.
This Pentagon CW6 6-Tape Audio Cassette Rewinder has been tested and responds to both electrical and mechanical controls, including the auto-stop function. It was sourced from a large professional A/V equipment supplier. The wooden housing and metal deck show normal wear consistent with professional use. No manuals or accessories are included — unit only. Please view our photo set and contact us if you have any questions.
