Solar panel vacuum laminators are the core processing equipment in PV module manufacturing lines. The lamination step bonds the solar cell stack — typically consisting of a glass superstrate, EVA encapsulant film, crystalline silicon cells or thin-film substrate, a second EVA layer, and a polymer backsheet — into a durable, weather-resistant module. The machine draws a vacuum to remove air and outgassing products from between the layers, then applies heat and pressure through the membrane to cure the EVA and create a hermetic seal. The 14-zone heated plate on the L150A allows the temperature profile across the work area to be tuned zone by zone, which is important for uniform lamination quality across larger panels.
