The Oxford Medilog 9000 is a portable ambulatory cassette recorder designed for clinical EEG and polysomnography (sleep study) monitoring. It records multi-channel bioelectrical signals — including EEG, EOG, and EMG — continuously onto standard cassette tape while a patient goes about normal activity or sleeps, allowing neurologists and sleep clinicians to review the data offline for sleep staging and scoring. The unit is powered by alkaline LR6 (AA) batteries and connects to the patient via a multi-pin snap-lead electrode harness.
