The Newport F-POL-PC is an all-fiber polarization controller designed for use with polarization-sensitive fiber optic devices and systems. It is based on an all-fiber Babinet-Soleil compensator design and uses a rotatable fiber squeezer mechanism to adjust the polarization state of light passing through single-mode fiber. The F-POL-PC (model PL005) is the bulkhead version, featuring a male FC/PC fiber optic connector on each end for direct inline integration.
