Condition: For Parts or Not Working

This used NAD T187 preamp processor switch has been tested to power on with the following result: We can pass video through the HDMI 1 input to the HDMI 1 output, but we cannot get sound to pass through - we think this is an internal setting we are unfamiliar with.
