Applications

The HIOS ACL series electric torque screwdrivers are used in precision assembly environments where consistent, repeatable torque is critical — including electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, medical device assembly, and small-parts production. The inline controller box limits torque at a preset value, preventing overtightening of delicate fasteners. HIOS is a Japanese manufacturer with a long-standing reputation in the torque tool industry, and the ACL series has been widely used in production and quality-control settings since the 1980s and 1990s. These tools are still sought after for light assembly work and as donor units for parts.
