Applications
The Metrologic VoyagerCG series was a widely used handheld laser scanner in retail checkout, inventory management, and light warehouse environments throughout the 2000s. The keyboard wedge interface made it easy to deploy on virtually any PC running any operating system — no drivers needed, as it simply inserts between the keyboard and the computer and passes scanned data as keystrokes. The desktop stand allows hands-free presentation scanning, making it useful at checkout counters where items can be passed across the scan window. It reads standard 1D symbologies including UPC, EAN, Code 39, and Code 128, covering the vast majority of retail and industrial barcode formats. These scanners remain useful today on legacy POS systems, older cash registers, or any workstation with a PS/2 or AT-style keyboard port.
This Metrologic MS9520 VoyagerCG laser barcode scanner has been inspected and is in good used condition. The scan head shows light surface scratching on the housing, visible in the photos.
