The Lithonia TH 1000MP is a 1000-watt metal halide high-intensity discharge (HID) luminaire with a multi-tap ballast covering five voltage settings: 120, 208, 240, 277, and 480V AC. This unit is currently tapped for 480V and includes the Tungsram MH1000/U/TU 1000W metal halide lamp (Lamp Type M47). It was pulled from a large CIGS thin-film solar panel manufacturing facility, where it was used to sun soak solar cells — simulating natural sunlight at high intensity to stabilize and condition the panels before testing and shipment.

Applications

This Lithonia TH 1000MP 1000W Metal Halide luminaire was pulled from a large CIGS solar panel manufacturing facility, where units like this were used to sun soak solar cells. It is in good used condition with normal wear expected from an industrial setting. The reflector bowl is clean and intact, the ballast housing is in good shape, and the Tungsram MH1000/U/TU lamp is included.
