Tissue-Tek II Vacuum infiltrator was designed primarily to provide liquid paraffin in a vacuum environment to insure removal of air voids (de-gassing) and clearing agents from processed specimens. The Vacuum Infiltrator may also be utilized for formalin fixation prior to processing. An aluminum basket with slotted vents is provided as a container for capsules and/or cassettes.
