Description
Intel Pentium BP80502133 SU073 133MHz Socket 7 CPU Processor Vintage P54C
The Intel Pentium BP80502133 is a 133MHz first-generation Pentium processor built on Intel's P54C core, running at 133MHz with a 66MHz front-side bus and a 2x multiplier. It fits the Socket 7 (and backward-compatible Socket 5) interface and operates at 3.3V, making it compatible with the wide range of Socket 7 motherboards produced by Intel, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, and others during the mid-1990s. This unit comes with the original factory-attached black radial aluminum heatsink.

Applications
The first-generation Intel Pentium, introduced in 1993, was Intel's answer to the growing demand for faster x86 performance in desktop PCs. The P54C core — used in the 100–200MHz range of classic Pentiums — was a major leap over the 486, adding a superscalar dual-pipeline design and a dedicated floating-point unit that made it the processor of choice for Windows 95, DOS gaming, early 3D graphics, and multimedia applications through the mid-to-late 1990s. The 133MHz variant was one of the more popular speed grades of the classic Pentium era, widely used in business and consumer desktops of the time. Today, Socket 7 Pentiums like this one are sought after by vintage and retro PC builders recreating period-correct 1990s systems, as well as collectors of early Intel microprocessors. The Socket 7 platform is also notable for being the last Intel CPU socket that supported processors from multiple manufacturers, including AMD K5/K6 and Cyrix 6x86 chips.
This Intel Pentium BP80502133 SU073 133MHz Socket 7 processor was pulled from a working environment where it was in active use and functional. It has been inspected and is in good used condition. The original factory-attached radial heatsink is present and secure. The gold pin array shows no bent or missing pins. Normal light handling wear is visible on the heatsink fins and ceramic package.
