The Intel Celeron SL5VR is a 1.3GHz Socket 370 desktop processor based on the Tualatin core, running at 1300MHz with a 100MHz front side bus, 256KB of on-die L2 cache, and a 1.5V core voltage. It uses the FCPGA2 package and fits Socket 370 motherboards that support Tualatin-core Celerons.

Applications

The Tualatin-core Celeron was Intel's late-generation Socket 370 processor, introduced around 2001–2002 and manufactured on a refined 0.13-micron process. It was used in budget and value desktop systems of that era, fitting motherboards with the Intel 815, 810, 440BX (with voltage adapter), and similar Socket 370 chipsets. Today these processors are sought by collectors and enthusiasts maintaining or restoring late-1990s to early-2000s Socket 370 systems, including systems built around popular boards from ASUS, Abit, Gigabyte, and MSI. The Tualatin core ran cooler and more efficiently than earlier Coppermine Celerons, making it a popular upgrade for compatible boards. It is also used in retro-computing builds targeting the Windows 98/ME/2000/XP era.

This Intel Celeron SL5VR 1.3GHz Socket 370 processor has been tested at our facility and is in good working condition. The pins on the underside are intact with no bends or damage visible. Old thermal paste residue is present on the integrated heat spreader (IHS) — normal for a used CPU — and will need to be cleaned before installation.
