Preston Printers LTD Thermal Embossing controller mounted on a Dennison Industrial Systems A3 High Speed Labeling System. This machine requires both air and power to operate appears to be custom built for a special purpose application.
We have tested it to emboss the custom plate in the print head but have not tested it further. It requires a special die or print head to emboss that imprint. The machine uses a fine film on spools. It has two adjustable bars which can set the alignment under a stationary print head which gives a thermal embossing imprint. Purposes include ID plates, warning labels, etc. Please see photos of printing block.
