Applications
The BV-7105EN is a classic analog box camera of the type widely used in commercial and industrial CCTV systems from the 1990s through the mid-2000s. Box cameras like this one are typically mounted in indoor fixed positions — hallways, lobbies, warehouses, retail back rooms — where the rectangular housing is acceptable and the ability to swap lenses is an advantage over dome-style cameras. The C/CS-mount interface means a wide variety of focal-length lenses can be fitted, making it flexible for different fields of view. The DC iris support allows use with auto-iris lenses in environments with variable lighting. The BNC video output connects directly to analog DVRs, multiplexers, quad processors, and analog monitors common in legacy CCTV infrastructure. Units like this are still used in legacy analog surveillance systems, in educational or training lab setups, and by hobbyists and system integrators maintaining or demonstrating older CCTV equipment.
This Appro BV-7105EN B/W Box Security Camera has been inspected and appears to be in good used condition. It was pulled from a working environment where it was previously in use. The housing shows light surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with normal use; the lens mount and front face appear clean with no cracks or obvious damage. The rear panel BNC connector, DC iris port, and adjustment switches are all intact and visible. The 12V DC AC adapter (Input: 110V 60Hz, Output: 12V DC 300mA) is included.
