Description
The R-2A non-vacuum solvent recovery unit distills waste solvents with normal boiling points between 95oF (35oC) and 375oF (190oC). An 1,100 watt cast-in aluminum heater provides sufficient heat to distill a 4-gallon batch of most solvents in about 8 hours, depending on the amount of contamination.
The unit is fully insulated. All wetted parts are manufactured from stainless steel. Fiberglass reinforced body and lid Conforms to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes for Class 1, Division 1, Group D hazardous locations. Meets air emission standards in the most stringent areas of the U.S. Exempt from federal hazardous waste treatment permits.
The R-2A bench top still is for recycling solvents that boil below 375F. Distills 4 gallons in 8 hours. Fully automatic operation, with disposable liners for sludge removal. During operation, solvent vapors condense on the water cooled dome, and are collected in the rear of the unit. A microprocessor controls operation. Includes self-diagnosing, trouble indicators. Perfect for body shops, and other low volume users of solvents.
