The General Electric Leak Detector is used to locate leaks in closed systems or devices which are pressurized with a gas containing a halogen. The Type H-6 Leak Detector operates on the principle of the sensitivity of ion emission to halogen vapors.

The GE leak Detector will not pick up & detect refrigerant- the senser dial has a short and will not show the green on light unless held down.Probe light would come on & not turn off. .
