- This machine is usually used in a classroom / learning environment. It is designed to play Compact Disk CD's and record them onto the built in Tape recorder. This machine can also play tapes on their own. The CD player is sensitive due to its age and moving the machine while playing a CD can cause skipping. We tested this listing by recording ONE minute of CD audio onto a tape, then rewinding and playing it back.
