Description
ARL 3560 Fisons ICP-AES inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer. Also known as an Optical Emissions Spectrometer. Manufactured in 1991. It was used to analyze most elements down to parts per billion levels in solution. This is one of the most widely used instruments in the world for elemental analysis. Installed in 1991 and professionally maintained and serviced by ARL which is now TJA. Very extensive array of photomultiplier tubes which allow the simultaneous measurements of the following 38 elements: Ar, Al, Ag, As, B, Ba, Be, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Ge, Hg, I, K, Li, Mo, Mn, Na, Ni, Mg, P, Pb, Pe, Pt, Rb, S, Sb, Se, Si, Sr, Sn, Ti, V, W, and Zn. Very sensitive instrument which measures into the PPB (parts per billion). Includes computer and plasma vision operation software. This item was deinstalled from a working lab. It's current working condition is unknown. It is complete but it has not been fully tested or calibrated.
This item was pulled from a working environment and appears to be in good condition. No manual or peripherals are included.
